Rottefella is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of ski bindings for cross country and Telemark skiing, both in Norway and abroad.
In a world where ski bindings are not considered an important part of the buying process, but are rather merely regarded as part of a ski package, Rottefella wanted to increase knowledge and awareness of bindings in general, and Rottefella in particular.
Rottefella is strengthening its position as a world leader in ski bindings with its new profile and logo. Its profile is internationally acclaimed. Rottefella’s visual identity stands out because it carries authority and power. It is technical and masculine but has feminine elements. The logo’s visibility has increased, as has its visual power.
The use of symbolism is relevant; snowflakes are associated with traditions and origins. The design in the identity emphasises Rottefella’s strength in industrial design and creates a unique character. Rottefella has created a technological superbrand that really stands out for men and women. This is an incredibly powerful and tough brand.
