Pensjonistforbundet is the country’s largest organisation for pensioners, and the only organisation with the right to discuss and negotiate with the government regarding state and social security budgets. Pensjonistforbundet wanted a new profile which manifests the four issues close to the organisation’s heart.
The Pensjonistforbundet’s four main issues are security, health, economy and culture. This was the starting point in creating the logo’s shape. It is a thoroughly designed profile in a well thought out visual, but politically neutral, colour. The graphical elements highlight optimism, joy and energy. The use of images of happy people with lots of energy fulfils the organisation’s wish to express diversity and human warmth.
The combination of the modern graphics and historical references works well. The material also considers the fact that people with impaired vision are found among the members, as are people with little knowledge of technological tools.
