People-centred design research with industry partner NorDan

To learn how others see and experience their products can be useful for many companies.

Window manufacturer NorDan has gained new insights and concepts from a people-centred design research initiated by the Norwegian Design Council in cooperation with Kadabra Product Design AS and RCA Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design in London.

Facts on NorDan:

NorDan AS was founded in 1926 and is one of the leading suppliers of windows and doors in Scandinavia with 1450 employees and a turnover of 1,6 billion Norwegian krones. Norway and Sweden represents 75% of their main market, with the remaining production mainly exported to Great Britain and Ireland.

Their head office and main factory is in Moi, in the southern part of Rogaland. Other factories are situated in Otta, Egersund and Arneberg in Norway, Värnamo and Tanumshede in Sweden, and Wolsztyn in Poland.
