RAINWEAR for work was previously based on traditional oilskins where the key principle is that every seam is a potential leak. The Workplus rain suit has a narrower cut, but allows greater mobility.
Both the jacket and trousers have features which are important for the suit to function like normal work clothes.
Jury`s verdict
Workplus offers more functional and practical rainwear than any other existing work clothes, while it conveys new symbolic value as being tough and hard-wearing. The material is soft and light and meets its key function of keeping the water out. The seams are welded, but the need for ventilation is met by using zip fasteners under sleeves and mesh pocket lining. The rainsuit has a narrow fit, but this does not restrict movement or the need to have several layers of clothes on underneath.
The product's sporty look means that it has potential for the leisure market. This product has met the needs of this group of users for flexible, practical solutions in their daily work, including features such a mobile phone pocket, a pocket for a ruler and a sewn-in reflector. It has a highly innovative design compared to the work rainwear already available on the market.
