Knitwear for children

Little Marius

Marius©® by Ugly is the autumn and winter knitwear collection for children in 100 per cent Merino wool. The well-known and copyright protected pattern designed by Unn Søiland in 1953, has been redesigned in cooperation with Lillunn AS Design of Norway. The products are targeted towards the souvenir and gift market.

Old tradition for new generations

When Ugly started, the company took a well-known pattern and implemented it in a new context in a simple, innovative and holistic way. The company have continued this as a clear brand characteristic, which has contributed to the traditional pattern seeing a renaissance. The product series is well thought through and gives several opportunities for significant commercial potential. The garments have a high use value, and can be used for both everyday wear as well as special occasions. The material and colour choice makes the garments very successful.

The knitting technique without floating threads on the back is particularly suited to clothing for babies and children. Ugly’s louse logo is subtly integrated into the pattern. Moreover, the producer has a great, unique sense of humour. Marius©® by Ugly has professionalism, uniqueness, quality and value of use that should be applauded.
