Per Finne was born in Voss in 1968 where he as of 2002 has run his own design firm. Many of his products involve inclusive design - and in 2007 he received the Norwegian Design Council`s Award for Design Excellence/Inclusive Design Award for his Tuva cutlery.

Per Finne studied at the National College of Art and Design in Oslo, and later became associate professor in product design at NTNU, the Norwegian University of Technology and Sciences, in Trondheim.
