Scandic prioritise accessibility in their new builds and refurbishments, constantly improving the standard of what they have. Scandic believe that showing interest and commitment is in many cases just as important to ensure everyone is enjoying their stay with us.
Magnus Berglund has worked as disability Coordinator for Scandic Scandic Hotels since 2003. One of his first tasks was to train his team members as Scandic feels everyone needs to understand what it is like for a guest with a disability. In consultation with disability organisations, hotel guests and team members, Scandic Hotels have drawn up a checklist of 93 points which they call Scandic's accessibility standard. Based on this, every hotel works to make life easier for its guests. The standard encompasses everything they offer and is to be an integral consideration for all products and services at the hotel.
