The best on inclusive design
Did you miss Innovation for all 2010? Here is another chance! All the presentations were filmed and you have the possibility to see both the presentations...

This workshop will explore the impact of Inclusive Design methodologies on the workplace as four generations now inhabit the same office space and Scandinavia's service economy makes growing demands on workplace design.
The session will look at challenges facing those who plan, commission, design and work in offices within the 21st century knowledge economy, and will provide practical exercises for workshop participants pointing towards a more innovative and adaptive design practice, that encompasses the need of older knowledge workers.
Together, Jeremy and Jo-Anne have completed a major academic study entitled the Welcoming Workplace, and a book to be launched in 2010 entitled 'New Demographics, New Workspace: Office Design for the Changing Workforce' by Gower Publishing in the UK. The workshop will share findings from these studies and the implications for business. Given the pensions crisis, new legislation and anticipated knowledge gap in the workforce, this workshop will have real political, economic and social resonance. Good practice from offices around the world will show participants how they can make their own workspaces and work practice more inclusive.
