Interactive session: Sustainable, Inclusive Housing

This session will look at how Inclusive Design will increasingly affect our housing and domestic spaces. It is not just public buildings that will need to meet new legislation. Changing standards will also influence the homes we live in. New houses will have to meet requirements that are being introduced across Norway and the EU.

It will give a visionary and informative look at the guidelines that are being implemented, drawing on practice from across the globe. The concept of the future-proofed home will be discussed alongside commercial, social and personal benefits of the approach. This practical session will end with a panel debate that will involve the audience, showing you how to make housing more practical, user-relevant and inclusive.
