SmartSeal FLEX - Spill-control drinking bottle cap

HIS CHILDREN used to always spill drinks on the backseat of the car. This gave founder Kjetil Næsje the idea for a spill-control drinking bottle cap.
SmartSeal FLEX has a patented valve principle, which means that the cap opens automatically when you drink from the bottle, then closes again when you stop drinking. Almost 20 million sports bottle caps were sold in 2007. SmartSeal's customers are drink manufacturers.
Jury`s verdict
The bottle cap functions exactly as it should and offers a definite improvement in terms of being user-friendly compared to other sports bottle caps. It does not leak, it is easy to drink from and has a tight lid which is much more effective than solutions we have seen previously. If you remove the lid, the cap remains watertight. SmartSeal has also produced an attractive-looking solution as the product can be manufactured in different colours adapted to different bottles.
The round shapes will fit in well with most bottle types. The cap can also be produced with different diameters. Environmental factors have also been considered as only a small amount of plastic is required for the product's manufacture and it can be recycled. This cap is quite simply ingenious.
