
“Litt av en kylling” was launched in 2007 and was a great success. However, some of its novelty value wore off after some time and sales figures took a downward turn.
The concept for redesigning “Litt av en kylling” went by the name of “taste safari” and found some of its inspiration in the spice markets of Marrakesh.
“Litt av en kylling” is an entertaining and conceptually strong name. The graphic solution works well on shop shelves. It is brave to use black on a food product like this, and only to show the chicken as a simple, white drawing against the black background.
The humour in the chicken’s speech bubble suits the design and appeals to children and adults of all ages. The chicken pieces are packed in attractive, upright bags, which have associations with potato crisps and other snacks. “Litt av en kylling” creates that Friday feeling.
