TRYGVE NESJE grinds organic flour from grain at the Holli ancestral farm, which is delivered to grocery stores and bakeries.
The same packaging is used for all the grain types, but the labels are in different colours, acting as a coding system and providing information about the grain. The text on the back of the packaging is a personal message from Trygve Nesje about how the flour is made.
Jury`s verdict
The flour bags presented by Holli Mølle are a refreshing innovation in a goods segment which is otherwise characterised by little variation in the packaging. This flour clearly stands out on the shelves, which is particularly important for a small producer. This is a bag which can probably be put on show on any kitchen worktop. There is a smart use of colour on the labels, which indicates what type of flour is in the bag and make you want to try other types.
The design concept with the labels at the top makes a positive contribution to the packaging's presence as a whole and to its width on the shelf. Holli is updating the image of organic food and is enhancing an otherwise plain bag with its distinctive elegant look. Smart overall design. The packaging makes you want to buy this flour.
