The basis for the “Visual learning” Masters project was to motivate and engage pupils to learn. There are many things that engage and motivate pupils outside of school, so why not use them to learn in school?
The concept is an interactive, web-based learning profile that identifies the pupil’s strengths and finds learning methods based on this.
We are impressed by the observations and studies made for this project, and even more by the admirable way in which this knowledge has been managed and implemented to create a logical learning system. A well-documented, design-driven innovation that facilitates an innovative learning method. School pupils often experience a maximum capacity for learning and think of learning as something that only happens at school. It is impressive how this learning platform can use handball and football to teach pupils something about chemistry.
This socially useful learning tool will enable us to help pupils develop and raise their awareness and give educational institutions the chance to offer differentiated learning to different individuals and groups in a way that the Norwegian school system probably wishes it could.
