SYKLUS is a panel heater consisting of a base and three removable heating cassettes.
The heater emits heat via convection and radiation from the surfaces, both with and without the heating cassettes. You can also feel the heat through direct interaction with the heating cassettes. They retain the heat at the core as long as they are on the base.
Jury`s verdict
This panel heater is a refreshing revamp of the principle based on hot stones and hot-water bottles, which have been widely used in Norway in times gone by. The fact that the product can be used to warm the bed, feet or food indicates consideration for the user. The designer is responsible for the competition's most complete product. In this instance, he has started off with Adax's existing products and created something we have not seen the like of before. It is a clever addition to a market segment which hardly ever, if at all, generates any real innovation.
The jury regards it as a plus that young designers have such close contacts with a Norwegian manufacturer. The workmanship of the Syklus has been carried out to a very high standard.
