Control program for the simulation of illnesses
The SimPad control program is designed for the medical simulation market: clinical training for health care personnel with the use of more or less advanced dolls/simulators, or people in role play, who simulate cases of illness.
This is the first wireless touch-screen control program in the world, with great functional gains endorsed by the academic environment and professional users. It has an intuitive user interface, which makes it user-friendly for both voluntary assistants and professional health care personnel. It is possible to control the simulator’s vital values, such as blood pressure, breathing and pulse. One of the main challenges has been to create a simple menu solution on a touch-screen, without excluding vital parameters. The company has managed to do this successfully.
The jury thinks this is a good example of the good use of design in an industry that needs it, which delivers far beyond the current industry standard.
