Annual report on the web
In order to increase availability and accommodate the increased use of mobiles and e-readers, this year the report was produced using HTML technology and presented in full on the net. At the same time, NRK wanted to show its new visual profile.
Access to the annual report is via a video mosaic, which provides extensive emotional benefits. The mosaic functions as a table of contents. We can move from bit to bit, and with a click the page changes mode and becomes more sober. Statistics and other facts are simply and attractively laid out with controlled details. The circle, which is NRK’s hallmark, is used attractively and consistently throughout the entire report. It is one of several examples of how the profile can be taken care of using simple graphic effects.
There is no doubt that NRK is clearly on track with its social mission. As a whole it is elegant, informative and complete – a pleasure to use.
