Increased competition resulted in Norway Post launching Post-in-Shop, a service run by third parties.
It is important that the concept is attractive to third parties, and that it contributes positively to building the Norway Post brand.
The jury's verdict:
Norway Post’s concept for its Post-in-Shop service is quite unique, since there is nothing to match this complete, compact solution integrating all aspects of Norway Post’s operations. A modular system means that it can be upscaled and modified with a high degree of flexibility. The whole “shop” can be scaled down or up as required, and it can easily be adapted to the required parcel and letter volumes and to different types of premises.
A good, user-friendly environment has been produced which incorporates details that take into account users with special needs. Uniform, uncluttered signage and clear product information help enhance the customer experience. Conditions behind the counter are also well thought through with the inclusion of an efficient and ergonomic design. The Post-in-Shop concept portrays the image of Norway Post in an exceedingly good way, with the colour red representing a clear and all-important element.
