ANYONE who has been in hospital will know how many wires and tubes accumulate around every patient's bed. Failure to control these wires can, in the worst case scenario, result in the supply of medication or fluid to the patient being blocked or in the wires being pulled out of the patient.
Orio can be attached to any poles, tubes and rails which are found in a hospital. It also means that you do not need to use tape to keep the cables together.
Jury`s verdict
Orio is a funny little product, which solves a real problem for patients and hospital staff. This solution is based on a good idea and is simple as it is ingenious. The product is easy to understand and the jury thinks that it is a solution that can tidy up the wire spaghetti, which is definitely a positive result. The product's design has associations with angels or a little jewel. This is a product with a humorous, yet thoughtful design, which will be used in a hospital environment.
The product and accompanying marketing collateral project a proper, clear profile and give the impression of a product with a serious function.
