Under the slogan “Pride in being different”, the employees at Krabat AS had a great desire to develop good technical aids with aesthetic values that foster respect and dignity.

Krabat Pilot is based on an entirely new concept compared to traditional solutions currently available.

The jury's verdict:

Krabat Pilot takes little people seriously and makes no distinction between handicapped and non-handicapped children. In addition to providing obvious, functional user benefits, the product has a uniform and robust design that will fit in well in any play situation and help eradicate physical differences.

Krabat Pilot actively helps the child to raise its hips, so that it can kneel and be inspired to crawl. The lifting movement is dynamic and changes all the time while the child is crawling. Good details make the product user-friendly, safe and easy to manoeuvre. Tough colours and a design that signalises movement, speed and positive feelings motivate the child, support system employees and, not least, the child’s parents.
