The Heron desk lamp is a true child of the 90’s with its clean lines and iconic design. It has been on the market for ten years now and is still selling well. When launched in 1995, it represented a change in direction for Luxo, at the same time as it was based on the factory’s well-known construction principle used in the arm of Luxo’s classic model L-1. While the two parts of the main body move differently when the head of the lamp is moved up and down, the head always remains parallel to the surface, and the shade gives asymmetrical lighting. The transformer for the halogen lamp is hidden in the base. There are tiny wheels on the underside of the lamp allowing you to move it about easily. Heron is regularly updated with new colours and functions as a sculpture
