Video conferencing equipment
Cisco has competitive product ranges in the high-end segment of the video conferencing market. However, the challenge for any large companies is to roll out a larger number of these devices within their organisation.
With the MX200, Cisco wants to offer a simplified and attractive product which customers can set up themselves, at a considerably lower price than previously.
Cisco is a flagship in Norwegian industry, and has few competitors in its class. Cisco TelePresence MX200 fills a niche with great potential. The user interface is impressively simple and world class. The user can easily hook up hundred devices in 15 minutes. The system has all necessary components built in and is connected to a functioning device. The design workmanship is of an extremely high level, and the visual design strategy is exemplary. The equipment is beautiful when viewed from all angles, which shows consideration for open-plan offices and glass walls.
MX200 is a good example of user insight that puts power of hi-tech equipment into the end-users’ hands.
