
Lyst! is a new range of cheese products designed to present a challenge to existing products. The manufacturer wishes to set itself apart from the multitude of cheese suppliers, and the objective of the design assignment was to give the products a strong and innovative expression.
The jury’s verdict:
The design of the Lyst! product range is clean, simple and unaffected, and evokes associations to good food. The use of photography is discrete and gives a sense of calm and tranquillity. The playful expression employed harmonizes well with the manufacturer’s goal of being a small challenger to its larger, established competitors. Use of partly see-through cartons is unique in this category. Being able to see inside gives the product credibility and reinforces the impression of quality. Including advice and tips on the packaging inspires the customer and makes it easier for the buyer to prepare tasty meals. The packaging is user-friendly and made from eco-friendly plastic.
