The Eva chair was appropriately developed for the Juvet Landscape Hotel project, the first of its kind in Europe. The hotel consists of small huts that lie flush with the forest floor.
The task was to create a recliner that enhanced the feeling of sitting on a forest floor. The relatively small space in the huts required compressed furniture with multiple functions.
Eva is a chair with hidden qualities. And innovative solutions. When you sit on the chair you do not expect it to move. The adjustment mechanism is hidden and the chair has its own flexible textile that allows large tilting movements beneath the material. The chair has a quiet, elegant look and takes up no more space than its own radius.
The ottoman matches the chair, can be used as a table and is hollow inside in case you want to store something in there. The ottoman cover can be removed and washed. In environmental terms, very little foam and material have been used here. It has been designed for a small landscape hotel on the forest floor in West Norway but has international design qualities. Think local, act global.
