In recent years, the outdoors has become used more actively than ever before. Vestre wanted to develop a bench with a major focus on the social side of public outdoor areas.
The challenge lay in combining aesthetics, functionality and social use. The main focus was on communication between the product and users.
Jury`s verdict
The Dialog outdoor bench softens things up in an often harsh outdoor environment. It can be used from both sides thanks to its simple wave shape and it surprises in a discreet and elegant way. The design appears new and refreshing. The Dialog waste container has an angled aperture, which makes it easier to throw things into it. The function is communicated to the users through soft lines in the same way as for the bench. The waste container can also be accessed from both sides. The use of diagonal symmetry is a theme in both products.
The finish is excellent and gives an in impression of craftsmanship which enhances the soft, inviting shape. The jury considers the Dialog to be a refined and attractive bench, which invites you to take a seat.
