The three pieces of furniture illustrates through different themes functions that must be satisfied in furniture design. The pieces have different structures of movement and two of the pieces have small rooms underlining the respective theme.

The Listener The user lies on his back with his head inside a glass dome. In this position the body is the least protected and is therefore the most receptive to impulses. The dome is made of glass resulting in a hard acoustics.
The Confessioner The user sits hidden inside the furniture piece well protected by the surrounding frame with a leather hood over his head. In this position the body is the most protected, curled up, in a dark and soundless environment.
The Flyer The user experiences a freedom by lying on his stomach with his head outside the front piece. The metal on the front piece is moveable and supports the user on his chest. The furniture hangs from a pole from the ceiling. The movements of the furniture piece are softly cushioned by a spring.
