The Business & Innovation Conference is an annual design conference targeting business managers within the Norwegian industry, and the main focus of the conference is on the professional and practical experience of design-driven, user focused innovation and the power of design thinking.
The aim is to give the participants new, immediate knowledge and inspiration to think and work differently in their companies to foster innovation and gain a competitive edge.
The conference is a full day event where business cases will be presented by highly qualified speakers. The main message is the need to include design as a tool in business and innovation processes in order to creative unique user experiences and increase the value of Norwegian products and services.
The conference ends with a ceremony for our Design Effect award + food and drinks. Design Effect is the first award of its kind in Norway (introduced in 2009) and recognizes projects which demonstrate design’s tangible impact on a client’s business. The award will go to design projects that present proof beyond doubt that the client’s business problem was solved by the design solution.
The Business and Innovation Conference 2010 is co-organized with NHO (the Confederation of Norwegian enterprise ), Abelia (Business Association of Norwegian knowledge- and technology based enterprises) and Ukeavisen Ledelse (Norwegian paper for business leaders). It will mainly consist of Norwegian Business-, Design- and Marketing Managers.
