A two day seminar and workshop focusing on inclusive design in design education.
Facilitated by the Norwegian Design Council's Innovation for All programme, the aim of the seminar is to provide practical tools and methods in teaching Inclusive design to design students. Based on the book Innovating with People and web guide www.inclusivedesign.no, this two day seminar and workshop will provide methods, activities and exercises for working with, and teaching the subject. As well as practical methods and working in teams, case studies of established brands will be presented.
The seminar and workshop is lead by Onny Eikhaug, Programme Leader, Design for All at Norwegian Design Council and Rama Gheerawo, Deputy Director, Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art in London.
The event is sponsored by The Delta Centre, The National Resource Centre for Participation and Accessibility (sponsor of the Norwegian Design Council’s awards for Design for All) and the Innovation for All programme.
