About Erik Kiær:

Erik Kiær is a Global Account Manager with Doblin, a member of The Monitor Group. Prior to joining Doblin in 1995, he worked for the Aker Group in Norway. He has worked with some of the largest companies in the financial services, fitness, furniture, health, technology, travel, transportation and logistics industries in Europe and North America, advising them on building successful innovation concepts, businesses and capabilities.

Erik’s interests are in understanding people’s increasingly messy and challenging lives, and to help clients serve their needs through more customer-focused processes, offerings and businesses. Erik’s current focus is on emerging experience platforms that respond to changes in technology, industry, society and culture. These platforms increasingly cut across traditional business and industry boundaries, and allow platform owners to create entirely new experiences that result in enduring customer loyalty and broad partner participation and value.

Erik is a mechanical engineer (B. Eng, Siv. Ing.) from McGill University in Montreal Canada, and holds a Masters of Design degree from the Institute of Design in Chicago, IL, USA.
