SWIX, Rottefella and Kari Traa AS all won The Norwegian Design Council's Award for Design Excellence in 2007. Rottefella was praised for its innovative work and won the Prize of Honour for Excellent Design. At the half-day seminar on september 19th, participants learnt how design is a driving force behind higher levels of performance in sport. The contributing companies and designers explained how they developed their product solutions.

Winner of the Award for Design Excellence, category visual profile
Sissel Himle and Elise Sæle gave a presentation of the whole process they had been through and explained how Kari's effervescent personality combined with traditional Norwegian building traditions and mixed with a generous dash of skiing mania, materialised into the clothing brand Kari Traa AS.
