Tore Ulstein, Vice President and Director for the Ulstein Group, at the Business and Innovation Conference in 2006.
Which instruments can companies deploy in order to contribute to innovation, increased competitive power and improved profitability? A growing number of companies are discovering that investing in design is the most effective means of providing good results.
The aim of the Norwegian Design Councils annual Business and Innovation conference is to provide inspiration and new knowledge about design as a business tool for innovation. Learn from exciting lecturers who demonstrate how design can be a resources for industries exposed to competition.
At the Business and Innovation conference 2006, participants shared Samsung’s experience of design as a tool for innovation, heard about Helly Hansen’s global process of change in which design represents key core expertise, listened to how Microsoft takes as its starting point humans and not technology in their innovative processes and heard how the Ulstein Group uses design as a means of asserting itself in a conservative industry.
