Design Day 2005 Monday December 5th 2005 was held in new surroundings in the cultural church Jakob and DogA Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture in Oslo. The theme for this year’s Design Day was design and innovation and the event attracted more than 400 participants.

Design Day 2005 included lectures by Alan South, Krister Ahlström and David Berman, which were followed by the announcement and presentation of the Norwegian Design Council’s awards and prizes. The Award for Design Excellence 2005 exhibition was opened at DogA, and the day was concluded by an evening celebration.

Design Day 2005 was arranged in cooperation with IKEA.

             We move on to the Norwegian Design and Architecture
              Centre and celebrate the prize winners with sparkling
              liquid refreshment in the Award for Design Excellence
              2005 exhibition.
